Fusion‑Bonded Epoxy (FBE) Coated Steel Pipe

19 August, 2026

Fusion‑Bonded Epoxy (FBE) coated steel pipe is a high‑performance anti‑corrosion steel pipe specially used for buried oil, gas and fluid transmission pipelines. Spiral‑welded, straight‑seam and seamless steel pipes can be used as base material.

FBE coating is produced by electrostatic‑spraying epoxy‑powder onto the pre‑heated steel pipe surface. The powder melts and cures to form a compact, firmly‑bonded protective film. Single‑layer FBE and double‑layer FBE anti‑corrosion structures are available for different corrosion environments.

The coating features high adhesion, excellent chemical resistance, water resistance and superior cathodic‑disbondment resistance, ensuring long‑term underground anti‑corrosion performance.

Each finished steel pipe will pass coating‑thickness test, holiday spark‑leakage detection and adhesion inspection before shipment.

It is widely used for long‑distance oil & gas trunk pipelines, city natural‑gas distribution networks, cross‑river pipelines, petrochemical buried pipelines and other projects.
